MEET "EMMIE"

"Emmie" is a 3-month old Puggle who is having fun playing outside!

Of course, after a hard day of playing, it's time to take a much needed nap!

MEET "TIGER"

"Tiger" is letting Mom & Dad know that she wants

to go outside, in no uncertain terms . . . . . in fact,

she probably would have tried to open the door

herself, if she could reach that high!

"Tiger" (aka "She - Who Must Be Obeyed") is getting her usual evening meal of canned food, but as you can see from the anticipation in her posture, despite the distraction of the fork, she's "keeping her eye on the bowl".

MEET "SALLIE"

This is "Sallie Number Too Kearfott".  "Sally#2" was the name temporarily assigned to her by Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. The owner chose to get a second basset because she was so pleased with the laid back personality of her first basset, "Harmie". However, Sallie is a very high energy dog and was so destructive that she almost went back to the rescue.

When visiting the home of a border collie involved in agility, Sallie started chasing her, running around and doing all of the obstacles, except for the jumps (which were much too high). Her owner then began training her. She has already earned her first agility title, but always has fun no matter what happens in competition. Sallie is now quite happy and when not channeling her energy into her dog sport she catches rabbits in the yard.

MEET "JURGEN"

Meet Jurgen Schneider Byers.

"Jurgen", being a German name, is pronounced

"Yurgen".  Jurgen is a Yorkshire Terrier who is

going to be 7-years old on December 20th

and weighs in at 15 pounds. 

In this photo, Jurgen had just visited Nancy

at Brookedale Pet Grooming, and he's

ready for his close-up!

MEET "COMET"

Comet is a 5-year old male Golden Retriever who loves to go camping, hiking, and swimming.

His favorite game is tennis!  Comet belongs to our very own Vickie Basile who is the newest addition to the Brookeside Veterinary Hospital staff.  Vickie and her family love Comet VERY much!
